About Us

Mid West Lights opened in 2004 and is one of the few dedicated light shops in the region.

The business is family owned and is run by Jimmy Tuffy, a fully qualified electrician who worked as an electrician for 10 years before becoming a house builder. He has built over 200 houses in the local area and has over 30 years’ experience in the construction industry. Jimmy is on-hand to offer you advice when choosing your homes lighting.

Our Staff

The staff at Mid West Lights frequently attend lighting trade shows in the UK and Europe, and are in constant contact with the main suppliers in the industry. This allows us to ensure that we offer on-trend lighting, sourced from the best known and most reliable suppliers in Europe. From experience, we understand what customers want and stock what people look for. If you cannot find what you are looking for in-store, have a chat with us and we will do our best to source it.
